Living La Dolce Vita in
Umbria, Italy...

Have you ever dreamt of having a cooking extravaganza in Italy, even for one week?   If so, then please read on...

Chef Judy whisks people away every year to the countryside of Umbria (that is the province just south of Tuscany) and for seven days her clients experience La Dolce Vita (the sweet life) of Italy – its cuisine, its wines, its olive oils, its history.   And, yes, you do learn how to cook those great Italian dishes at the same time.

Chef Judy’s group sizes are small in order to create the best possible experience for everyone.   She takes only six to her venue in the Umbrian countryside just outside the ancient hilltop village of Todi.   The accommodation is a 12th century monastery located in nine hectares of beautiful gardens and wooded walks.  The property is replete with an eight-bedroom villa and even a church!

So for seven days in early June or late September, you are at the mercy of Chef Judy and her team, while you learn to cook, learn about the local businesses, drink the wines and olive oil and eat fabulous foods.    She insists that you must want to have fun and enjoy learning new things.

Here is what one of her guests said: "Cooking with Judy in Umbria is punctuated by wonderful experiences of the Italian people in their homes and vocations; by an elegant villa in which to cook, rest, eat and enjoy; by bonding of women that happens in the kitchen and around the dinner table in every culture; and most importantly by the energetic, practical, and loving instruction of Maestro Judy. Her many skills in the kitchen and outside of it, her positive attitude and her boundless energy made this week a memorable life experience that I will always treasure." Jane S, Constant Traveller.
